Instead of just telling you what a boudoir photography session is like, I thought it would be better to show you with a little behind the scenes look at real sessions with some of my clients! I’ll be sharing boudoir client interviews from women of all shapes and sizes so you can hear straight from them why they chose to do a boudoir session and how empowering the experience was for them.

 

 

For my first boudoir client interview, I’m sharing Stacy’s curvy boudoir session at my new studio in Argyle, Texas! At first, she was a little nervous – because let’s be real, who isn’t nervous when stripping down in front of a stranger haha! But I took the lead and let her know what I had in our studio closet that would look amazing on her and still feel comfortable.

Pretty soon she was letting loose and having fun. Read on to see what she thought of her boudoir session!

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

I did this session for myself. I’ve been wanting to do this for years and always came up with an excuse. This time though, I decided to just go for it!

What were you most nervous about going into your session?

As a plus-size woman, I’m always insecure about my body. Knowing I would be in minimal clothing in front of someone and a camera, I felt very vulnerable and exposed.

What was your favorite part of the experience?

The entire experience from start to end was so great. It was the first time having hair and makeup done. I felt like a superstar! Alexandra helped me feel beautiful. She complimented me and was so positive and uplifting. All my insecurities melted away.

How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

I’m so happy I did this. I absolutely love the pictures and I feel more beautiful now than ever before. I can’t wait to do it again!

Would you recommend Alexandra Jo Boudoir to others?

Alexandra Jo Boudoir will be the only person I recommend for Boudoir. She is very professional, fun and made the entire experience so simple and relaxing.
